WFP calls for urgent support to safeguard resilience programmes in The Sahel as funding dwindles (World Food Programme)

Feb 23, 2024 #Communities, #Education, #Politics

Glimpse: The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is urging governments and partners to protect resilience-building programs that assist crisis-affected people in enduring shocks and meeting their own food and nutrition needs, given the ongoingly high level of humanitarian needs in West and Central Africa. This will help eventually lower the need for intervention and stop the region’s hard-earned development gains from being reversed.
