According to the research, there is a growing humanitarian catastrophe in the Sahel, where 24 million people desperately need aid because of worsening access to basic services, increasing war, widespread displacement, food poverty, and climate shocks. It demands for more international assistance and coordinated action to address pressing humanitarian needs and promote long-term resilience, warning that violence is spreading throughout the region, putting millions at greater risk.
