A transition to renewable energy in the Sahel (UNDP)

For hundreds of millions of Sahelians, access to renewable energy has become essential in light of the region’s severe socioeconomic and climatic difficulties. The UNDP has set an ambitious target to give more than 150 million people in the Sahel, a area rich in potential, access to affordable and clean energy by 2025.
