In keeping with the philosophy and goals of the Mattei Plan to fortify links with the African continent, development assistance and initiatives funded by Italian collaboration continue to primarily benefit Africa. As part of this cooperation, partnerships with domestic and foreign stakeholders are formed in order to find and carry out ambitious initiatives in sectors of strategic importance. These projects are carried out in cooperation with both public and private Italian development system stakeholders.
