Through collaboration with the Liptako-Gourma Authority and the Lake Chad Basin Commission, the Facility is strengthening institutional capacities in the region to create and carry out strategies and guiding frameworks. The foundation of the Regional Stabilization Facility is community-driven. All local stakeholders participate in the joint formulation of stabilization action plans.
