In order to offer decision makers and responders with better context-specific support, the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) collects and analyzes data in order to communicate crucial multi-layered information on the mobility, vulnerabilities, and needs of displaced and mobile people. Decision-makers and their humanitarian partners may conduct more effective, more focused humanitarian and post-crisis initiatives by making the most use of DTM data. IOM makes DTM data available to all parties involved in humanitarian operations and in providing assistance to persons in transit as a shared resource.
