UNFPA Sudan Emergency Situation Report (UNFPA via Reliefweb)

Since the conflict began in April 2023, 8.1 million people – including 6.3 million internally displaced people (IDPs) – have left their homes in Sudan2. Over 1.5 million women and girls of reproductive age, including close to 150,000 pregnant women, make up the internally displaced population. Over the next three months, almost fifty thousand live births are anticipated.
