Summary of Conclusions [on the Food and Nutrition Crisis in the Sahel] (RPCR)

Jun 2, 2021 #Communities, #Nutrition

The ongoing food and nutrition crisis in both the Sahel and West Africa affects some 27.1 million people in the “2021 lean season.” Further aggravation of the situation is possible. Many health centers as well as schools have closed down, “depriving children of school meals.” Stakeholders such as ECOWAS, UEMOA and CILSS are hence called on to respond by once again providing assistance.
