Sahel and West Africa: Alarming Food and Nutritional Insecurity. An unprecedented level of food and nutritional insecurity (UNICEF)

According to UNICEF, some 16.7 million people in the Sahel and in West Africa face acute nutrition insecurity. Some 23,6 million inhabitants of the said regions could be affected by the coming lean season in 2021.
