Getting a good education is still difficult. Fortunately, the area has made the crucial initial move. The number of children in the region who are enrolled in elementary and secondary school has almost quadrupled and tripled, respectively, over the last 15 years. To assist education, governments have declared high-level pledges and started a number of programs.
