The economic future of the Sahel must be seen in terms of resilience and change rather than merely crises. Migration and climate change present opportunities as well as growing expenses. Innovation and regional integration should be viewed as being fueled by climate mobility. The networks and talents that migrants bring may boost commerce and revive economies. If assisted, cities that take in displaced people can develop into centers for sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and technology. Decentralizing services, investing in young skills, and utilizing AI to track mobility are examples of flexible development techniques that are necessary for this. People’s movements, not static land models, must be reflected in planning. To transform mass displacement into a demographic dividend, Sahelian governments need to make investments in education, vocational training, and climate adaptation.
