According to Agence Marrocane de Presse (MAP), the foreign ministers of Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, and Chad reaffirmed their nations’ support for a Moroccan proposal spearheaded by King Mohammed VI that aims to provide the Sahel States with a path to the Atlantic Ocean. The strategic significance of this endeavor was emphasized in a joint statement issued after the Ministerial Coordination Meeting, which took place in Morocco on Saturday. According to MAP, the ministers praised the initiative, which embodies the principles of regional co-development and South-South cooperation.
