The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) and the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) have collaborated to produce a series of publications that profile non-state armed organizations in West Africa and examine the connections between their participation in illicit economies and government provision. The video series explores how armed organizations thrive in their political and economic contexts, including fresh content and updated analysis based on qualitative research and the ACLED database.
