Unpacking the EU’s New Sahel Strategy (PEACELAB)

After the Eurpean Council’s adopting the European Union’s ‘Integrated Strategy in the Sahel,’ new approaches will be given way after long-standing, imperfect concepts have been abandoned. Accountability within the sphere of politics and good governance will have a major role, but a vision on migration is still lacking.
