Africa is developing into a global marvel. The future of the African continent may be significantly impacted by the Great Green Wall for the Sahara and the Sahel. One of the world’s driest and most susceptible areas is the Sahel region. There’s typically a shortage of food, water, and employment opportunities. The local population is expanding quickly, and people already have to make tough decisions every day just to survive. At the current rate, climate change and land degradation may force vulnerable groups to make unfavorable decisions. In light of this, regional and African authorities have been speaking out against desertification and land degradation.
