Priorities are abundant. In order to give measures in the Sahelian countries greater meaning, actors should keep long-term objectives in mind while taking into account the political economy on a national and regional level as well as the recommendations. As examined in the BGG pathway, there are immediate steps that can have transformative effects on other energy and development outcomes. With regard to policy choices and spending, this HDR offers a path forward that minimizes trade-offs while achieving important development and energy goals that will have the biggest influence on livelihoods. There are opportunities all over the Sahel, and they can be uncovered to create a new future for a resilient, sustainable, and prosperous region with targeted, empirically driven actions taken at the national, regional, and international levels.
