Using Mann–Kendall and Sen Slope analysis, this study looks into the decadal trends of onset (ON) and cessation (CS) in the study area. The Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISIMIP) provided daily rainfall data for the years 1901–2000 at a grid resolution of 0.5° × 0.5°. The rainfall at Achouadene had a significant trend of -2.1, -2.9, and 6.2 days during the periods of 1921–1930, 1970–1980, and 1991–2000, respectively, according to the results. Of the places that were chosen, this one was most likely to experience noticeable shifts in the onset dates.
