We reached more than 4.4 million children through our health and nutrition programmes designed jointly with partners, community stakeholders, and governments. Our water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) interventions across the region also helped accelerate access to universal and equitable WASH services, reaching more than 2 million girls and boys. In a region where access to quality education remains a significant challenge, we supported over 500,000 school-aged children with education in emergencies opportunities, early childhood development, and interventions that improve literacy. Through our advocacy interventions, we reached more than 51.2 million people across the region as we focused on increasing resources and implementing laws and policies to improve the lives of the most vulnerable children. We impacted more than 1.5 million children through our livelihoods and food security interventions geared at supporting parents to provide adequate and nutritious food to their children.
